Consumers now see eating as something to be done while you do something else. Everybody wants to save time by multitasking. So you don't just sit down and eat. You eat while you work, while you're watching TV, while you drive. Stores like 7-Eleven are increasing the number of products that can be eaten with one hand, like sealed tacos, stuffed breadsticks and hamburgers in the shape of a hot dog.
